Starting from 23rd March 2026 we are holding a drop-in PAIRS Community Call on the fourth Monday of each month at 11:00 UTC.
From April, we plan to add an additional call suited to American timezones (tbc.).
These calls are open to anyone who has engaged with PAIRS in the past, or wants to engage in future.

Joining Guidance
🎧 How to Join an Audio (Voice) Channel on Discord
Joining a voice channel is much simpler than a traditional phone call—there’s no "ringing." You simply "hop in" and "hop out."
- Open the Server: On the far left sidebar, click the icon of the community server you want to join.
- Find the Voice Channels: Look for channels with a speaker icon (🔊) next to their name (e.g., 🔊 General or 🔊 Gaming).
- Click to Join: Click the name of the channel once.
- You will instantly hear a "bloop" sound, and your name will appear under the channel name to show you are connected.
- Check Your Mic: Once connected, look at the bottom left (above your username). You’ll see icons to Mute your mic or Deafen (silence the audio).
- To Leave: Click the Disconnect icon (a phone with an 'X' next to it) in the voice status panel at the bottom left.
💡 Pro-Tips for New Users
- Push-to-Talk: If you have a noisy background, go to User Settings (⚙️) > Voice & Video and change your Input Mode to "Push to Talk."
- Green Circle: When someone's profile picture glows with a green circle, it means they are currently speaking.
